miWorld - Photo booth Review

Front of the box.

I first heard of miWorld about a year ago when I saw a few sets for sale at a Target in Ohio. I immediately wanted one. I just love tiny playsets! I have these handmade 3 inch amigurumi dolls that I like trying to find furniture and stores for. Calico Critters works perfectly for my amigurumi but can be too pricey so I've been searching for cheaper alternatives.

I ended up not buying any miWorld products because I found out that they're not as mini as I had hoped. They work better for 5 inch dolls and I don't own any dolls of figures in that size.

"miWorld, real world made mini"
But yesterday when I came across this brand again in Wal-Mart I couldn't resist buying this photo booth. I want my dolls to experience purikura. <3 LOL.

Back of the box.
I was actually having a hard time deciding between this and the Dairy Queen. I think my dolls would like having cute friend dates at Dairy Queen. This photo booth was about $10 though and the Dairy Queen went for $15. So, I bought the photo booth because it was cheaper...
I know I'm going to end up buying the Dairy Queen anyway so I don't know why I think I'm saving any money.

Here is everything the set comes with. 1 photo booth, 1 credit card, and 1 photo strip.

The photo booth.

Top of photo booth.
Stars on top of the photo booth.

Back of photo booth.
The back of the photo booth can slide out. Not sure why. The set doesn't come with other boards to slide in and even if it did there would be no point. The picture would be taken on the side inside the photo booth (yeah, this is a confusing sentence).

It could be that it slides out so you can re-position your dolls inside the photo booth easier.
All this could be on the instructions, but I wouldn't know. I didn't read the instructions, lol.

The side of the booth where you put your phone.

Apparently, you're supposed to fit your phone right here so you can take pictures. This is a neat idea but it didn't work out so well with my phone.

"If your phone doesn't fit, simply hold it up against the lens opening to take the picture."

The opening adjusts.

My phone didn't fit.
The inside of the booth.
Here is a picture of the inside of the booth that I took with my phone by holding it up to the opening. The stars on top of the booth create an interesting effect!

My iPod touch fits, but it's too short!
My iPod is ancient though so maybe the newer iPod touches will be tall enough.

Stickers and gray plastic rectangle.

I tried my best to stick the change card sticker on right, but I didn't get it quite right. It's very tiny!

Believe it! :D

Naruto is excited to try out the new photo booth!

Err... I had to squeeze his head in though.
There's no bottom to this photo booth so if your doll can't squeeze in, you can try lifting the booth over your doll's head to fit it in.

Naruto is in! But he's too short. I put a small pillow for him to stand on so he could be seen through the opening.

Cute!
It's too bad his big head blocks the starry background. It probably looks better with miWorld's doll, but I'm still happy with my purchase.
