Li'l Woodzeez - Walk-In Health Clinic Playset Review

Today I'm reviewing Li'l Woodzeez Walk-In Health Clinic! I bought it for ~$21 at Target.
I love these little playsets. I have one other like it, the Li'l Woodzeez Honeysuckle Hollow General Store playset. For $21, the amount of detail you get is crazy! The good kind of crazy! :D
It comes with 55 pieces. On the back of the tag it lists all the items it comes with, but I forgot to photograph it before throwing it away. Sorry!

While at Target I also saw smaller sets; a nursery and a hair salon. They were about half the size of this one but also half the price.

The set looks a little cluttered in these photos.
...The good kind of cluttered. (:<

This set is both an medical emergency clinic and a dental clinic.

Haven't decided yet if a frog-person is cute or creepy.

No dolls come with this set, just paperboard cutouts that are the actual size of the Li'l Woodzeez dolls. They're around 3 inches.

Tape.

More tape.
And more tape.

As you can see, everything is encased in plastic and really locked in place with this packaging. I remember getting frustrated while trying to unpackage the General Store. So, I'm not actually looking forward to removing all the plastic and tape.

Bottom of the set.
The bottom of the set is covered with paperboard meant to hold the items in place. The paperboard is printed with the exact pattern molded onto the floor.

Plastic tag.

Grr, I hate these plastic tags. I accidentally scratched up the window with my scissors trying to cut these off.

Eventually I was able to remove all the items though!

The floor.

The walls.

Okay, this curtain is really neat. (: You can have it down or roll it back up if you want. You can also pop the whole thing off completely.

The doors open and close.

Front of signs.

Back of signs.
The set comes with two little signs. One of them has the a medical cross symbol and on the back of it is a tooth. The other sign is an open/closed sign.

Bush with molded on flowers.

Wood design.

The outside details on the walls.

The amount of detail really surprises me with these Li'l Woodzeez sets. Obviously it could be better. The flowers in the bush and along the walls could be painted along with these other molded on details on the outside of the walls. But for the price, this is amazing.

Everything the set comes with!

I tried arranging everything back to how it originally was when the plastic was still on.

Whoops! Forgot to remove the plastic underneath the table!

So, here's everything in place. Now we can take a closer look at all of the items!

I like that the mouth model can open and close. It can open up all the way (and more) but it cannot close completely.

A white mask, red glasses, a green folder, and... I don't know what that is. It's probably some dentist tool, I'm sure. Now I'm reminded of how upset with myself for throwing that tag with the list of items away! Ugh.

X-Rays.
Of course, the x-rays would be of animals since the dolls that Li'l Woodzeez makes are anthropomorphic animals.

The x-rays can be removed from the desk.

There is also storage space underneath the desk.

Chair and dental tools.

The teeth being there is a wonderful little detail, but they're also a little creepy to me. Although that's probably because I read Edgar Allan Poe's Berenice a few days ago, LOL.

Eye exam chart.
I like that the eye exam chart uses fish and flowers instead of regular old letters.

The eye exam chart can be removed. It's able to be hung by these little plastic pegs jutting out from the wall.

Stethoscope and toothbrush.

Dental chair.
The dental chair can swivel around in a complete circle.

There's hooks on the wall for the hangers.

Nurse scrub and dental lab coat.
The nurse and dentist uniforms are supposed to be hung on the hanger but they are not able to stay on. The neck hole is too big and slides right off the hanger.

Forgot to remove the plastic.
I didn't notice the plastic was still underneath the table as I was taking pictures.

The wheels work, so the table can move.

A red emergency bag, and two different types of bandages.

The bandages fit inside the bag.

A weight scale.
The pink needle can move around.

Drawers and medical tools.

The drawers can slide out all the way.

I tried fitting the tray with the tools into the drawer but it's too big.

Crutch.

The crutch fits nicely!

The two books (or boxes?) are one piece and cannot come apart.

The picture frame can stand on its own.

I'm not going to take out the plastic in this shelf so I can keep the bottles nicely in place.

Back of shelf.
Like the eye exam chart, the shelf has little holes so it can be mounted on the wall.

Medical curtain divider.
The divider's fabric curtain can slide off and back on.

Tray with hospital food.

Mattress.
The mattress has foam inside of it.

Li'l Woodzeez sets are perfect for my 3 inch amigurumi dolls.

This is a great playset! Well worth the price. As much as I love Calico Critters, which makes sets similar to Li'l Woodzeez, the sets and furniture are often out of my price range. I do own quite a few Calico Critters sets. The detail and quality are above Li'l Woodzeez, but I'd rather buy the cheaper option for big playsets like these. And I'll usually buy the furniture from Calico Critters.

The Calico Critters Country Doctor set on Amazon costs ~$60. It looks lovely and even more detailed than this set, but for people on a budget Li'l Woodzeez is just as good. I know my parents would have never bought me Calico Critters when I was a kid because of the price.

I love both brands for different reasons, but I'm glad to there is a cheaper option.
