Ever After High - Cerise Hood Review

So, I know that every Ever After High doll fan probably already has Cerise Hood, but I just got her today at Target for $19.99. I think she's gorgeous. She's just what I've been wanting from Ever After High. I've been turned off by the line ever since I bought the first four basics that were released.
I only bought Ashlynn and Hunter because I wanted Hunter. With her bigger lips, Ashlynn was much prettier to me than the first female dolls, but I still didn't care much for her.
I don't remember what order Cupid and Blondie were first released, but I took a look at them and they're not for me. Maybe it was my disappointment with the other dolls that made me pass over Cerise when she first came out, and I had seen her a LOT before, but I never picked her up and actually looked at her. I really like Cerise because with her straight hair and bangs to cover her forehead, her head and her face doesn't look so round (which is what turned me away from the other dolls).
I've grown to love my other EAH dolls, but Cerise is now my favourite. (: I'd love to get the other versions of her available as well.

I haven't read her story yet, but I plan to. Also, sadly, her picnic basket doesn't open.

I don't care for her hood. I think I'll leave it off most of the time.
The back of her box was funny to read because of how glaringly obvious it was that her father is the Big Bad Wolf, lol. Also, I'm a little disappointed in her ears. I do see that it's slightly pointier than the other girl's ears but I think it could have been done better. Like, that's what should have made her secret obvious... do you know what I mean?

Oh, I just remembered something! When I saw her in the webisodes I thought she had short hair. She'd look really cute with short hair, but I do prefer long hair Cerise. (:

Kurhn - Glamorous Kurhn Review

Hello! The newest addition to my dolls is the lovely Glamorous Kurhn! I'm going to call her "Glamour". There's my creativity shining through again~ I bought her for $32 with free shipping off of Aliexpress. Shipping took about two weeks. I had seen a review and pictures of her from another blogger and I knew I just had to have her.
**WARNING: I took pictures of this doll without her clothes on. If that offends you, please do NOT scroll down.**

Glamorous Kurhn in box.

Glamour's dress.

An up-close pick of her neck accessory.
Sorry the picture of the shoes isn't that clear. I didn't realize it until now.

There was double sided tape stuck to her torso to hold her dress up. It took some time getting off, but at least it didn't damage my doll or her dress. Her underwear isn't the most attractive, but I really like it when dolls come with fabric underwear rather than the usual molded on panties.

She has side-glancing eyes.

The description of the doll where I bought her said she has real human hair. Her hair is very soft, but I'm not sure that it's real. My other Kurhn dolls I can believe that their hair is real. Their hair looks and feels close to my own hair, but not this one.
She did come with her own saddle stand, the same stand that all Kurhn dolls come with, but her feet don't touch the bottom so I just threw it away.

Monster High - Invisi Billy Review

I bought Invisi Billy off of Amazon for $50 because I'm a dummy! :D HEHEHE... hm...
;____;

Target currently has him available for pre-order at $19.
Oh well, at least I have him. (: I love love LOVE a good-looking male fashion doll. They're so hard to come by for a decent price. I've been so excited for Invisi Billy to be released ever since that April Fool's prank on the Monster High Facebook page. He looks like the kind of guy that I would have dated. His bio says he's 15, but he looks more like 17 to me.

Looks like he has stretched ears.
Invisi Billy's legs fade into a transparent blue. I thought it would be more like Spectra's body, but I guess the designer(s) didn't want people to mistake him for a ghost. According to Invisi Billy's journal, he hates being mistaken for a ghost too.
It can open and close.

He did come with a stand and a brush, but I just like using my own stands. He also came with a journal.

I completely love Invisi Billy's doll. I have nothing negative to say about him. I'm so glad that they didn't make his whole body and face transparent. I was really worried about how they would make him.
I read his whole journal and his relationship with Scarah Screams is really cute, but I honestly wish they weren't dating. It's not that I don't like Scarah, I just want there to finally be a Monster High boy that doesn't have a love interest in the series. Also, I have no interest in buying Scarah's doll.

Ever After High - Dexter Charming Review

I bought Dexter Charming off of Amazon for ~$55. I feel like an idiot about it though because before I purchased him I kept thinking "What if I spot him for regular price the next time I look?" and that's exactly what happened. I saw him for $21 today! D:<
*&^%$#@!

I didn't want to take the chance that the price would keep going up like Jackson. ): I missed out on Monster High Basic Jackson because I never found him for regular price. I saw him at Justice for $32 back before the store had %40 daily, but I didn't get him because I thought "Ohhh, I could probably find him for normal price". I didn't, and his price just kept climbing.

I took the plastic off the box before I remembered "Oh yeah... I do reviews on my blog. I should probably take pictures of this." lol.

The back of his box.

He does come with a stand, but I like using my saddle stands since they're almost invisible and they aren't as damaging to the clothes.

With glasses.

Without glasses.
I'm a little disappointed that his hair isn't teased up like how it was in the promo pictures and the webisodes.

His crown is attached to his head.
I'm still deciding whether or not to cut off the unattractive plastic sticking out of his head.

Oooh so muscular~

His scarf is attached to his shirt.

This is the first time I've read the whole booklet that comes with these Ever After High dolls. I've kept all my other ones, but I never got around to reading them. I've wanted Dexter and Raven to go together from the start. When I first saw that Dexter had a crush on Raven, I thought "Yep. I ship this." I know that Cupid has a thing for him, and I feel bad for her, but after reading this I'm completely for Dexter and Raven.

His bag can stand on it's own with some practice.
I wish it opened though.

This doll is great and makes a great addition to my collection and he gets double points for being a male doll. It's hard to find reasonably priced good-looking male dolls so I'm very happy with Dexter! I hope Ever After High keeps up with these great quality dolls and doesn't cheap out later on.

I really want Thronecoming Cupid. <3
